Juventus’ attempts to bring Torino central defender Angelo Ogbonna across the city divide have come up short for the moment.
Negotiations had been progressing rather smoothly until it has been reported on Thursday that these have now faltered due to a disagreement between the Turin clubs.
SkySport24 report that the Bianconeri disagree with Ogbonna’s parent club over the method of payment for the 25-year-old and that they are a little way off in this regard.
However, these disagreements between the clubs will not lead to talks breaking down permanently and they also report that it still seems very likely that the Azzurri international will be a Juventus player next season.
