The Port Harcourt Audition was indeed a splendid one which took place on Saturday 29th June at Ellenora's King #42 Old Aba Road, Rumuogba, Artillery, Port Harcourt.
The Audition had dignitaries in attendance, The Press, Event Managers, managers of Modeling firms, Director 10mile Conceptz amd more.
The Audition had 5 Judges. Namely:
Eze Sunday, CEO Manymore Global Events; Okpara Stanley, Correspondent Prime Magazine Port Harcourt 08079756443; Mr. Alex Akarume, MD Ellenora's King Port Harcourt; Barr. Ilem Jahnonso Jahnear of Equity Chambers, Awka, Anambra State; Brown Apiafi, Banker Zennith Bank/Event Manager and CEO Mr. Earth Nigeria 2013.
There were 12 Contestants fully registered and cleared to participate in the audition. They were judged on 3 appearances- Casual (jean and T-shirt); Swimming Pant; and Suit.
At th end of the 3 laps we had 5contestants chosen from the Port Harcourt audition to represent 5 states. They are;
Contestant number 5: Mr. Okpara N. Given from Ozuoba in Obio/Akpor LGA of Rivers State, a 300L Biochemist in the University of Port Harcourt, whose hobbies are Reading, Workouts and Football is to represent RIVERS STATE. "I thank God and the organizers of this competition. I pray God sees me to the end".
Contestant number 2: Mr. Oluo Timothy Ikechukwu from Umunju Umuogba in Omuma LGA of Rivers State, a student of Nicholas Foundation of Screen Writing, Port Harcourt, whose hobbies are Singing, Workouts, Reading and football is to represent SOKOTO STATE.
Contestant number 7: Nwobodo Rex Cosmos from Amaguza in Enugu East LGA of Enugu State, an ND2 Business Admin and Mgt Student of the Rivers State Polytechnic, Bori, whose hobbies are football, tennis and reading is to represent ENUGU STATE.
Contestant number 12: Onyewuchi V. Ikechukwu from Amanze Obibiezena in Owerri North LGA of Imo State, a 300L Agric Economist in the Federal University of Technology Owerri, whose hobbies are modeling, dancing and swimming is to represent EBONYI STATE. " It's an interesting one though gonna be very competitive, I believe I will make it to the top".
Contestant number 10:Ezekiel E. Joshua from Nembe in Bayelsa State, a 100L Petroleum Engineer in the Niger Delta University, Amassoma, Bayelsa State, whose hobbies are playing Video games, Reading, and sports is to represent BORNO STATE.
These Finalists at the Port Harcourt Audition were addressed by the CEO, Mr. Earth Nigeria 2013. The Terms and Guidelines, Camp Rules and Requirements were read to them.
The CEO, Mr. John Tega says it is a nice and very unique audition. "your performances were better than that of other contestants in calabar and owerri", he said. I wish to see better performances in the Benin, Lagos and Abuja auditions.
